| Chairman |
Welcome to my first waffle since being conned into, sorry elected to, the post of Chairman at our recent AGM.
Firstly, we extend a warm welcome to all of the new members who have joined us since the last newsletter, namely Paul Spence, Stuart August, Kerry Pope, Lucy Suddaby, Elliott Challen, Ed Sheppard, John Turner, Dean Morgan, Clive Hale, Mark Palmer, Ed Norris and John Heelan.
If I have missed anyone out then come and find me at the Club BBQ on Monday and I will buy you a drink to apologise.
May I also take this opportunity to encourage all of you new members, and the older ones if they fancy it, to join Claire and Paul on their Unallocated Associates runs on the third Saturday of each month. That is how I got introduced to the club, on the very first one I believe, and I cannot recommend them highly enough for an introduction to BWAM and BWAM people. If that is not sufficient encouragement, then Paul never fails to select a destination with excellent refreshments.
With six test passes so far in 2011, half of them in May, and twenty three Associates currently preparing for test, we must be on course for a significant increase in full members this year.
A big Thank You also to Mark Bezzant for organising another excellent Observers Training weekend in Wales last month (they even let me join them this year). I have heard nothing negative from those who took part and plenty of positive so Well Done Mark, and yes we'd all like to do it again next year.
Within the coming pages, you will see plenty of events planned for the coming few months, traditionally the busiest part of the biking year, including but not limited to:
A full calendar of Sunday Social rides
Unallocated Associates runs
FARTS rides
Fish and Chip runs
Members Ride Clinics
Treasure Hunt
We would love to see you support as many of them as you are willing and able to attend, and don't forget that other great excuse to get the bike out and disappear for a couple of hours - the BWAM Photo Competition!
Keep Safe, and see you at the BBQ on Monday.

The Unallocated Associates Rides have continued to be successful in offering new members an opportunity to meet members from BWAM and take part in a social ride. They are also proving popular with members wishing to join us, especially those who not so long ago were Unallcoated Associates themselves. Rides depart at 12.30 p.m. from Cobham Social Club Merley - please feel free to bring pillions for a social afternoon of discovering the delights of Dorset.

| Webmaster |
| This e-Newsletter should offer easy to use Hyper-links to web site pages, posts in the Forum and .pdf files for download. Unfortunately the paper copy that some members may have received in the past has ceased as this new format does not print well and Hyperlinks have never worked on paper, this is the 21st century you know!
All BWAM members can have access to the Forum. If you do not have access, please email Matt or Tony at forum@bwam.org.uk with your name, email address and BWAM Group membership number.
